Is Nalgene Tritan Safe?
Nalgene has replaced all of its old water bottles with bottles made of something called Tritan copolyester due to concerns that the old water bottles had Bisphenol A (BPA) in them. The new Tritan water bottles are BPA-free, but what exactly is Tritan? Is there any evidence that Tritan doesn't contain a different chemical that's just as bad for you as BPA?
meh even the old stuff there was so little chemical it didnt matter just people made a big deal about it. i have had my same nalgene for ALONG time
rotten chemicals and all and im fine. it was just a situation blown way out of proportion nalgenes are awesome. they are virtualy indestructable i once shot a full nalgen with the lid on it with a .22lr and it didnt break it probly almost did but still that says alot.
