360 pads -> my computer?

hi, i want to use my 360 pad for games on my computer aswell as the 360. problem being my computer doesnt recognise it. i think i would have to install it somehow. does anyone know of possibly a patch or update that i can use to make it work ? thank you, regards, tom.

P.S. my computer has running vista if that is any help.

My brother got me one of those x-box pads for my pc at christmas. It comes with an installation disk. It said to install the software before connecting the pad. Have a look on the microsoft site for the drivers/instalation file. If you cant find it il upload it or send it to you.

The disk i got is called xbox 360 accessories 1.1
