Is there anyone who will do a permanent stainless steel crown.?

i had a temporary stainless steel crown for over a year and then i changed dentists and he said that i should get a permanent crown on because it was a bit too big and it was irritating my gums, so he took it off and molded me for a permanent one and in the mean time they put on a porcelain temporary crown. this was about four to six months ago, and it cracked a little bit a week or two ago and then today it completely broke off. i just want a stainless steel permanent crown because i like how it looks and it lasted longer for me.

What you got was not a porcelain crown, it was a composite one (with up to 80% porcelain filling). PERMANENT porcelain crowns and metal crowns are made to last around ten years. TEMPORARY crowns are meant to last only several months AT THE MOST, until the permanent crown is ready, which takes not more than 2 or 3 weeks though. So it's absolutely no surprise that your recent temporary crown cracked: it just isn't made to last half a year! You were supposed to get your permanent crown done within 3 weeks of having received that. Go see your dentist to have your permanent crown done asap and you won't have to bother with irritated gumlines or cracked crowns for the next 10 years!

Btw: It's not a stainless steel crown you'll get (if you're so keen on metal), it'll be either noble or non-noble metal. Stainless steel ones are only for temporary use, as they do not fit the tooth stump to 100% (as would a permanent one) and therefore it does occur that your gums can become irritated.
