Does anyone prefer a foot spa over a basin or bowl when soaking their feet?

I was going to buy one of these for my girlfriend, but I have read some reviews and they are mixed. So, I wanted to get some advice. If you like foot spas, please explain why, how often you use it, and its plus or minuses.

i love my foot spa. i like to add salts to it and soak my feet. it has different options like bubbles and whirlpool and vibration. and u can tun it on low or high. i love it
