What Pre-workout mix drink should a girl drink that gives her energy and helps weight loss?

Currently I am taking half a scoop of this mix drink called xpand. It's fantastic for energy and really keeps me motivated but when I read the reviews it seems like only men are taking this to bulk up and gain muscle mass. Something I don't need. Is there something better I could take that helps me lose fat and keep lean?

If the product your referring to is the one in the linky i have then i wouldnt worry about gaining muscle or adding mass. Il try and explain to you what your getting in this product in brackets beside the ingredients to help you understand a bit better.

//B vitamins are supposed to be great at transporting amino acids into the cells, makes them more bio-available, also B vits give a nice energy boost taken alone//

Creatine Ester Fusion™: 4.5g
(Creatine Ethyl Ester Malate, Tricreatine Citrate, Creatine Ester Phosphate Sodium, Creatine AKG).

//To the above, this is a blend of creatine, none surprisingly have creatine monohydrate in. Which was the original creatine all the studies were based on, your add a few pounds of weight, taking this but it will be in the form of water weight, which will make you look quite nice and toned as its absorbed into the muscle, just remember to drink lots of water to avoid bloating, roughly 100ml for every gram taken which will be approx 450ml for this product and a litre roughly throughout the day//

(Glutamine AKG, N-Acetyl-L-Glutamine).

//Taurine, glutamine are amino acids and im not sure what betaine could be. Taurine in large doses acts as a neural inhibitor which is great for bedtime it also absorbs water and helps with calcium absorbtion. This stuff is also good for preventing cramps and keeps you hydrated which is why redbull probably have it in to counter the effects of caffeine//

//Glutamine AKG and the N-Acetyl version are the same thing just have different methods of absorbtion its supposed to help with recovery, great for irritable bowl syndrome as the gut loves this stuff. Glutamine isnt really an essential amino acid but doing intense exercise can deplete it quite heavily. Also most of the tests on glutamine involved intravenus (sp?) methods not oral so dont expect the same amazing results as hospital patients would. Alone on an empty stomach can incourage a rise in growth hormone which can be helpful in protecting muscle from being savaged for fuel amoung other things//

//cinnamon is great for sugar levels amoung other stuff, your probably find this in alot of products. It says 4000mg but it doesnt say how much of what so you could be getting 3500mg of the cheapest ingredient and 500mg split between the rest of the ingredients//

//Some more amino acids, Leucine is supposed to be responsible for muscle repair etc the isoleucine and L-Valine are also essential amino acids and i think can help aid leucine absorbtion best to take 2:1:1 or 4:1:1 leucine:valine:iso as there needs to be more leucine in for it to work properly. Again though 2940mg doesnt say how much of what your getting//

//Tyrosine, Phenylalanine, Cysteine. Going by memory i know the first two can work as the pre-curser to adrenaline, i think the phen can be converted into tyro and the tyro works the adrenal gland. The Cysteine is a potent anti-oxidant i think this was included to combat all the free radical damage the arginine can do.//

Vanadyl Sulfate: This stuff is old school, you only need trace amounts of this stuff. Having more can be potentially damaging but like some other old school products companies still sell it.//

This product will not make you build muscle, lifting heavy and eating alot will. Most guys will use this stuff for the pumped up feeling and it can also fool you into thinking your quite big after a workout. This information is from memory alone.
