What is the better bike between the Trek 4300 Disc and the Specialized Hardrock Comp Disc?

I'm searching for a good starter mountain bike with disc brakes. I've got it narrowed down to the two. I just can't decide which one I should go with. Any input would be appreciated.

I have a Specialized Hardrock and i love it. 2 of my friends have Trek 4500 and they like them. The 4300 is slight downgrade from these.
